To be fair I do not know for sure that this Cybertruck and Bronco Raptor haven't been to Moab. But it is likely given the fact that we are on a small island in the middle of the ocean. But I do know for a fact that one of these costs less than half of the cheaper of the other two. I do know that one of these was on two wheels at 7000ft on Tuesday. It's climbed mountains, driven through creeks, and sees dirt all the time. Yep it's my 23 Hot Pepper Red XLTremor. Just turned over 20,000 trouble free miles.

20K miles on Maui means you must have covered the entire island more than once! Do you think Lahaina will recover in the next 10 years? It seems so many families were wiped out...

I have made atleast 3 full laps in the truck. There is so much winding around to do.

Lahaina was ruined, as were many lives. That doesn't mean they won't come back in one way or another though. A thing like that really accelerates changes, things will be different, some people had to leave and will never be back. General prices are nearly double here for every good or service. There is a new property for sale in my neighborhood. Rough road, but paved, no utilities except phone, just over an acre, no buildings but has a 20 or so foot travel trailer. It listed for $700,000. Thats a hard housing reality to deal with when you were renting from someone that you knew for 15 years and kept it fair. I think it will be something good though when it comes back, but some faces and places will change. There really is a strong community will to not screw it up. Life goes on, and as long as the world continues to want to vacation here, we will have the funds to build.
