Yeah, the Tremor Maverick could have easily left the same day depending on the traffic jam in front of it that got "stuck" at a muddy choke point to the 2 lane highway back to Reno. The media implied a large number of folks left the day BEFORE the grand finale when "Burning Man" gets "torched" including a fireworks show because of mud and/or they were running short of provisions, really? Folks leaving early likely planned it, to get back to work or to catch a flight from Reno's Airport before the end of the 3 day Labor Day weekend. The messy traffic jam was from less off-road capable vehicles stuck in mud causing traffic blockages. The next morning the sun came out with a rainbow(see photos), drying much of the playa ... I saw no TV reports for the much larger numbers leaving who had stayed an extra night to see the grand finale "Burning Man" burned with fireworks. Hmm, the attached photos of "Burning Man" the day AFTER the storm don't show mud ruts. The "News" media didn't report Burning Man's last day... there was no mud to report. Yep, it had rained one day, the sun came out the next morning for "Burners" that stayed for the following night's finale. I live in NW rural Nevada....surrounded by unpaved roads, they are no problem for my Tremor Maverick...even when it rains....just scary when near less capable vehicles/drivers.

This is EXACTLY the type of threads we need here lol.

And yeah, I agree that it would get out as long as the driver isn't dumb.
The ground is pretty flat, so I think a set of recovery boards is all you'd need.
