I got my job 2 2025 Maverick with Pro Trailer and Pro Hitch Assist!
I don't have a trailer, so I haven't been able to test any of those features yet, but they are installed and they do function when I activate the buttons.
Just a few notes:
1: Don't order through Diamond Ford in Lancaster California. The sales folks are nice enough, but the dealer managers will install $4,000 worth of garbage on the truck before you can take delivery then try to charge you for it. It took a lot of back and forth with them to get them to remove the charges. They added the VIN security stickers ($995), ceramic coating ($995), Door Edge Guard Vinyl Stickers ($995), and R.E.D third brake light flasher ($995). This was all on a CUSTOM ORDER vehicle and they did all of those things without my permission prior to taking delivery.
2: My tailgate cables are slightly different lengths, so if I load up the tailgate in the half position, the right side cable will take all of the weight.
3: The screen is at a very odd angle. I am 6'3" and the screen is pretty far out of my line of sight. The truck has great visibility for a 2025 vehicle(A pillar and B pillar are quite slim), but I wish the screen was higher up and tilted a bit more towards the driver.
4: The Pro-Trailer knob is right where I want the volume knob to be. Since I am tall I can reach the knob just fine, but I could see shorter people struggle to reach the knob. Eventually I will probably get used to the steering wheel controls, but right now there are 20+ buttons on the wheel and that'll take a while to memorize.
5: Overall very happy with the truck so far. I know my driving habits will not allow me to get the 40+ MPG many of you guys are getting, but I will be happy with what I get!
