2024 Lariat Hybrid Maverick

For the last few months my heated mirrors are always on when I use push button start inside the vehicle. It doesn't matter the temperature outside ( hot or cold), the heated mirrors are always on and I have to turn off. I don't use them and know for a fact they are not left on everytime I turn the vehicle off.

Obviously it is annoying to have to turn off every time when starting my Mav, but is there a bigger software/computer issue?

2024 Lariat Hybrid Maverick here, too. Mine acts exactly the same way.

They turn on automatically below about 50 degrees.

Must be a hybrid thing. It was 30F yesterday during my commute, and I had to "press the button." Which is the entirety of the direction my owners manual gives.

24 XLT LUX here, I have to turn them on if wanted, no matter the temp.

'24 Lariat hybrid - I live in a temperate climate. Seldom below 50 F. I had mist covering the mirrors and I had to turn on the heated mirrors manually. That cleared the mist in under a minute.
