The short bed is doable but this would be fantastic. Yeah, I know, pricy and problematic with the unibody.

I'd settle for leaving the rear window alone. Then you'd at least have room for longer stuff and be able to sleep in the back on camping trips. Not something I'm interested in. I'll let it hang off the back or I'll use my trailer.
But it does seem to be decently done by Chevy. I'd prefer the rear window to retract down electrically and then the glass is hidden so it doesn't get broken. However, again I don't find this feature useful.
I suppose the camping option could be useful but you’re also taking everything out of your bed before doing it.I'd settle for leaving the rear window alone. Then you'd at least have room for longer stuff and be able to sleep in the back on camping trips.
Honda should bring back the element!!!My Honda Element rear seats could be taken out completely, and with front passenger seat push forward I could haul 12 foot 2x4's or 2x6's.....Like the Maverick but my Element could haul much more cargo.
If that happened, I would buy one tomorrow, if it was a hybrid. And they were made in Ohio.Honda should bring back the element!!!
I traded my 2007 Element for my current Maverick. I concur - what a great vehicle! My Honda Element rear seats could be taken out completely, and with front passenger seat push forward I could haul 12 foot 2x4's or 2x6's.....Like the Maverick but my Element could haul much more cargo.
I have that trailer too, for hauling my motorcycles and big stuff. But I'd still like the longer bed for camping. Like when I meet a group to go canoeing the night before at the put-in.I’ve got a 5x8 trailer, I’m in it $500.
I’m good.
But that rig is way freakin cool.
Rich people toys. :XD
Sure, put it on the tonneau or front seats.I suppose the camping option could be useful but you’re also taking everything out of your bed before doing it.
