Eagles fan here so I loved the game. Not quite my genre for the halftime show (I like a bit older, the 2022 one with Dre, Snoop, Blige, 50, Eminem etc... Lamar was there but I don't remember him in that mix), but I thought he did well.

Active, the dancers I thought were extremely good and in sync (looking at you left shark), the music sounded fine.

It wasn't New Kids on the Block or Gloria Estefan. Not even close to the "worst ever".

U2 and Prince were two of my favorites and that was about genre and a good concert more than production costs. They had to have spent a ton for that Indiana Jones set for Tony Bennett and Patti LaBelle, or the Black Eyed Peas/Slash one, or Aguilera and Iglesias and Phill Collins one...

I'd take Lamar's show any day over those pricey ones.

Old man here who DVR 90 mins. Of the game, before I sat down to watch. That way I could skip through the BS between the plays and skip some of the halftime show. Being an old guy I had no idea who the artist was. I did speed watch him at 60x normal.

There is a simple solution to the problem. Don't watch. I'm 69 and have never watched one Super Bowl. I have zero interest.
