Tim, you may want to go over the Maverick's with the camera recall for sale.

I ran the vin# on the first one on the LM website and found this.

I was about to post that they are showing the recall now. We run incentives on each vin every week and if they have recalls it flags it. Many of them are now being flagged with active stop sale recalls. Is so frustrating when they don't have a fix. I hope they figure it out soon.

That really sucks. Does Ford offer any sort of relief from the interest they charge you on these when they are required to sit on your lot in an un-sellable status? Or somehow not count the "days on the lot" against you for other sales metrics?

While I agree with much of your post, wouldn't that be 9% per year so 5 times that much interest over the life of the loan? For a more detailed payment breakdown:
https://www.amortization.org/auto/amortization.php?amount=37000&rate=9&d=0&t=5&p=years&by=monthly
Auto loans are almost always simple interest, with the interest being based on the loan value at payment due date each month. So it should not be 5x that much. Unless I am just totally brain-dead from lack of coffee.

Well, I didn’t want to use the word entitled, because it sounded perjorative. And as far as the APR, I didn’t have to accept it, but it certainly contributed to my paying the vehicle off before the year was up which I probably wouldn’t have done if the rate had been more reasonable. It does appear to be a trend among car companies to give lip service to recognizing our armed forces but when it comes to the almighty dollar they don’t follow through. Kind of frosts my cookies.

We have 90 2024 Ford Mavericks that need to find a good home.

What about the camera recall? Will delivery be made after that has been resolved in the 1st qrtr of 2025 ?

Thanks! That's what I figured. I'm so glad I was able to get a 2025.

Are any of those Mavericks part of the back up camera recall? In other words, can a buyer actually drive them home? Not trying to insult you, but some folks seem to be buying a 2024 Maverick and then being told they can't pick it up until the recall is resolved.

We have 82 Mavericks with the recall. We can sell them but can't deliver them. We decided to remove them from the website and not sell them since we can't let the customers drive them or take them home.

Thanks...it sounds like some dealers are not so forthright.
