I can only speculate without being there.

Based ONLY on the images provided, if accurate, could be a wheel speed / wheel slip or brake sensor.

Probably hard to diagnose but pretty simple to fix. Wishing you well.

Keep us posted.
I severed the wheel speed sensor wires to my front right wheel earlier this year and can confirm that the issues were similar. This is my guess as well. A simple code pull from the OBDII will tell him if that's the case down to the exact wheel.

If you're getting battery sleep issues, have you trickle charged the battery at all? Charge the 12v battery fully. If you have a battery maintainer, let it run the de-sulfation procedure. These trucks can get weird if the 12v battery is weak/low.

Or, as other said, it may just be a sensor. Regardless, I wouldn't drive it.

We ran a bunch of errands tonight and went out to dinner. Took my truck to see if it was the battery or snow/ice on a sensor. When I turned it on, there were no engine warning lights. The truck drove fine. No issues at all.

I also reinstalled the FordPass App and enabled all the stuff. Once I did that, I could see that it was a battery issue - the app kept saying Deep Sleep or low battery and wouldn't show me anything else about the truck. Once I drove it enough it started working as normal - showed the location, miles to empty, tire pressure, oil life, etc.

I'm going to chalk this up to deep sleep/hybrid battery drain and potentially snow/ice buildup on one of the ABS sensors. Will also bring it to the dealership and have them run all the tests.

As I learn anything new, i'll update the thread. Thanks to all that offered helpful suggestions. Just another reason why this community is so amazing.

Glad to hear things seem back to normal. The battery issues on the hybrid can cause a bunch of problems that seem unrelated. I suggest you look into tossing that OEM battery and install an AGM battery (size H4 will fit perfectly). Amazon has them and they are not difficult to install. I have not had any deep sleep issues on my '22 since doing the battery replacement/upgrade. There's several threads on battery replacement. I'm including the thread I posted, but I want to emphasize my decision to switch and install was due to the many suggestions and support I received from club members.

I had something similar happen to my 23 eco but not drivability issues, just showing codes. i drove it to the dealer and their code reader pinpointed an issue with the RF wheel sensor, the electric wire running to it had not been properly fasted with a stay and dropped into the tire rotation area and wore it thru. They fixed it while I was there. Also snow/ice clods building up in that area might cause the wire to pull loose. I wash it at a carwash weekly when the snow is about, not so much for the looks but the underbody douching.

To me, the EB vs Hybrid pissing contest seems quite childish and annoying.
Agree. That's why I don't engage in any dialogue that contains any of that. Usually, those who do that are looking for a response, so I don't give it to them. It's rare and it doesn't define the club which is 99% good people who want to help.
