I like the soft roll up covers simply because they roll up out of the way without interfering with the bed space. I also don't need the added security of a hard cover. I bought a cheap $180 from Amazon and have used it for over two years without issue.

Something similar to this?

At Realtruck search for covers with T-slot rails. They are not cheap. You can then add options.
I may want to carry a Kayak, but I plan to just get Roof rails for that purpose. My old ones may fit.
Still torn on soft vs hard cover as I just need weather protection.
Of course, I need Ford to fix the camera first so I can actually take delivery of my truck.

I got this one on Amazon made by Flowkottu. Also ordered a rack. Need to modify the rack (Take the bottom of the L off or shorten) so I can attach via t-slot. Haven't installed the rack yet. Took some photos and posted on the forum ( links below).

I bought a dedicated trailer for Kayaks and motorcycles, it ran me like 250 bucks few years back. I think 4x6 or something

I love my A.R.E. hard trifold (Area 51 color) tonneau cover! I am in Northeast Ohio(Lake effect snow region). Now in its 3rd snow season I have had no leaks or any kind of problem. It did cost a pretty penny at the time ~$1200 but it is nice not to worry about anything! I have said this before it is very important that the person installing the cover is very competent.

I have the rough country low profile and love it, not a single issue I would buy it again for sure.

I purchased it directly from rough country it took two days to arrive via FedEx. Me and my 11-year-old installed it in about an hour taking our time making sure everything was right and water tight as could be, reinstalled extra weather stripping on the area of the bed where the tailgate meets the bed and at the top of the tailgate as well.

I chose to go with the SyneticUSA retractable from Truck2Go. Yes, it was a bit expensive at $1001 which included shipping and installation BUT I only have to buy it once. It will never need replacing unless damaged in an accident. To me, that made sense over the other choices.

Nice, looks great. Could add bed rails if you wanted to?
I have the non-flip up RC hard tri-fold (older/cheaper version) and have added the Elevate TS rails. At the time the RC was the cheapest hard cover that would work with them (may still be, haven't looked).
