Used a similar idea from an old thread here. I'm running two sets of Diode Dynamics pod lights and used a factory kick panel from a 4k tow model and a little piece of abs plastic. Super easy swap for anyone wanting to add extra switches with a clean look.

A couple of questions, One, where did you get the ABS piece of plastic that you used? Two, where did you get the lower kick plate piece I assume from a dealership? Rough cost on both if you are willing to share that info.

You can buy ABS plastic sheets on Amazon, have used many for electronics projects.

I *think* this is the part "NZ6Z2604459BA", new list is $73.32 and I find it on ebay too, but since it's for all years you might find it at a boneyard: https://www.ford.com/product/cover-p4000152230 - to get the link to work, you might have to go to the site, select your vehicle, then re-open the link.

The plastic and switches are from Amazon. Under $10 for each.

This great information. I've been thinking about putting in fog lamps. Thank You!

Nice! I was wanting to add some bed lighting, and I wanted the switch in the cab instead of in the bed, but my XL didn't have any good spots to add a switch. This is a good solution.

Neatly done! I love those switches, by the way. Have one for my driving/fog lights. I'm guessing you didn't use the blank panel on the OEM headlight module because there wasn't enough room for both switches?

Exactly. With only one switch I would have went in the headlight switch.

I just ordered the kick panel. How did you attach the abs to the back of the kickpanel?

Thank you.
