I can confirm that my 4K equipped XLT built within that timeframe was delivered with this problem.

I can confirm that my 4k equipped Lariat built the week after that timeframe does not have this problem (verified with a trailer wiring tester plugged into the 4 pin plug, haven't hooked it up to an actual trailer yet).

EDIT: I've since hauled a trailer a few times. No issue with the lights on the truck or the trailer.

With the dates listed, EVERY MY23 Maverick produced up to February 10th with the tow package is affected by the recall.

Does anyone suppose that this is the reason for the constraint on the stand alone hitch? Seems to be about the same time frame of when the Hitch became a Restraint item.

Interesting it starts with the very first day of 23 production. Wonder why they make a change between 22 and 23 wiring.

How do they screw this up after building the 2022's without this problem. Someone decided, we don't need that extra wire....Whoops I guess we do.
