Govee underglow kit installed.

This took me 8 hours, an hour in CAD, 4 hours of watching my printer make some
Custom brackets, but it is done!
Govee 8 light underglow kit. I figured it’s under $100 why not give it a try. The Maverick doesn’t give you lots of options on how to mount the lights. So I did the best I could.
Not the best pics. But it was starting to rain as I finished.

yes, as long as you don't use blue, red, or flashing colors. (most states)

I love 3D printing.

Made my first 3D print in 2005 and I still have it. Used it yesterday on Halloween.

Yes ,I had aqua neon tubes and got a ticket, for they were to close to blue. Changed out for yellow on my Fiero

Nice work! A 3D printer is on my list before the end of the year. I usually fabricate everything out of metal but those brackets look sharp and functional. Plus, it looks like you won't have to deal with frozen crap over the winter which could damage undercarriage components.

I remember neon tubes. And neon license plate frames. On an angle.

I think 3d printers are damn near essential if you’re a maker of any sort. In so many cases you don’t even need to learn cad. But that’s where the true usefulness of the machine comes in. If you can design what you need the printer gains 100x its potential.
I only have a small bambu mini. And it does 80% of what I need. I will definitely move up to a larger unit. But this has been an amazing plug and play no fails machine, and has proven that this is something worthy of further investment.

Govee as in the same company who does tons of indoor and outdoor home Smart lighting?

I absolutely love their smart lighting for home, I have a lot of it but I couldn't imagine putting it underneath my vehicle.

I can share the mount files. They’re kinda specific to the track I used which isn’t the track I would recommend, it’s just what I had. But if you’re still interested i can send them to you. As far as down the sides. I just stuck the lights to the bottom of the skirt. I’m not really a fan of it and am considering trying something else as you can see the lights when you’re far away from the truck.

yep. Same company. I have a ton of their lights in our home as well. This kit is specifically for underglow. You can find it in the App under the shopping tab.
