Yesterday I traded my 2022 XLT EB for a 2025 Lariat Hybrid. I had a great experience with the dealer, searched Ford's inventory 7 weeks ago and placed a deposit over the phone. Received an offer for my '22 that I couldn't refuse, which was a couple hundred less than CarMax but saved me around $1,300 in sales tax by taking the dealer offer.

I had a 180 mile trip home to get to know my new Maverick. The trip was from north central Washington south-east to Idaho, and even with the highway speeds and hills I ran 34.5 MPG. Only options are the color and 4k Tow.

Looking Good!!!!!! Paint option looks like a winner to me. How many miles did the EB have when you traded? Plese, let us know how you like the hybrid Vs the EB after you have had it a while and you can make a good comparison. Thanks!

I also traded my 22 eco for a hybrid. My 22 eco was an AWD lariat and traded for a New 24 hybrid lariat. 22 had 40K miles on it and was averaging 33mpg the 24 has 8K miles and is averaging 43.5mpg both rode about same and handle snow just about equally. With the slightly better supply I gave about same for both trucks $36k. The 24 makes my 3 Maverick as I also own a 23 hybrid lariat. I went with lariats as I’m a big fan of the adaptive cruise control and reverse sensing system which has saved me several times when trying to back out of a parking space when parked next to a large truck or suv.

I like the red. It’s too bad ford doesn’t offer Gregor black trim for the interior. It would make picking a color a lot easier. They have made a lot of improvements as far as configuration goes. I wish I was younger, I think I would make the move to the AWD hybrid lariat.
