Almost there. Molds complete and first pulls done and being test fitted. This kit is full fender replacements, no cutting of stock fenders. The kit consists of all 4 pieces and will be $3500 plus shipping.

@compositesworks on Instagram is the shop doing it and you can reach out to them or to me so I can relay information. It will make it to a website in a bit.

$3500, and they couldn't do anything to bump out the fuel door? I would think that aspect should have been easy to mold the fuel doors outward, flush with the wide-body if these are true replacements vs. skins.


I suppose something like this might be achievable after the fact?


Edit: just noticed you have a hybrid with the pressurized cap/door. Makes more sense to keep it stock location probably, disregard..

It's one of those it is what it is things. I don't mind it though. Figuring out a way to go flush would have been cool.

As a teenager, I would have been super stoked about this, to make my car unique and unlike anything that anyone else has.

But as an adult, I’ve learned through experience that it costs money for the kit, money for the install, money for the paint, then your resale value is either unaffected or negatively affected by the modifications.

And for me, I personally want my mods to be functional. Maybe it’s both form and function, like a rear wing, aftermarket exhaust, wider tires, etc. But a wide body kit on a 250 hp pickup? All that’s gonna do is increase drag and slow it down.

So, hard pass.
