This impacts vehicles built as far back as 2022, and is a parts failure not a build quality issue.Wow.
So far it seems the 25MY is NOT mainly software upgrades.
And this was the year of pulling samples off the line for extra quality checks.
The whole truck is made of parts. This impacts vehicles built as far back as 2022, and is a parts failure not a build quality issue.

The whole truck is made of parts.
So the extra time for reviewing some vehicles was just for build quality.
I guess that makes sense as no parts would be expected to show a problem in the brief weeks of extra time taken. Well, except the battery!
Yes it was for build quality. There’s no way for them to test the engine block heater for every vehicle coming off the assembly lines when the part has been in circulation since 2022.The whole truck is made of parts.

Of course not every one of them.Yes it was for build quality. There’s no way for them to test the engine block heater for every vehicle coming off the assembly lines when the part has been in circulation since 2022.
BOY would that have been a gig! = "Go pull one off the line, plug in the block heater and watch it all night"!Wow.

1. The trucks are built in Mexico.Of course not every one of them.
But frankly - these were being delivered in the winter - they are testing systems I assume as part of build quality.
In the extra weeks some of them were being held for such tests - this should have been on the list to test.
The truck is full of parts used since the start, they should still be testing many of them, since this wasn't a process before this MY.
