As announced last week, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is currently hosting a measuring session for aftermarket companies to develop 2022 Ford Maverick accessories and other upgrades. It's taking place in SEMA's garage in Diamond Beach, California.
SEMA measuring sessions allow aftermarket suppliers and manufacturers a hands-on first look at the trucks before they hit the market. This gives them time to develop parts so that when the trucks hit the market in the fall of 2021, consumers can begin modifying their trucks how they like and making them more and more their own.
The Area 51 Maverick is an XLT trim with 2.5L hybrid engine and eCVT FWD. The Hot Pepper Red is a Lariat with 2.0L EcoBoost, 8 speed automatic, FX4 package, AWD.
