I’m in Argyle and drive through Flower Mound all the time, hope to see another on the road around here. I’ve had my cactus gray XLT since October and I still hardly ever see others on the road.
I ordered from Five Star Ford in Dallas in June and took delivery in October of my 2.0 XLT. Process was smooth and no markups. I changed my order several times through the process to avoid delays in production and it was no problem.
Coming from someone who has zero mechanical knowledge (which is a shame because my father is a mechanic) and without the tools to perform my own work, how would I go about getting these lift kits installed if I ordered one? Could I call around and find a local shop that will provide the labor to...
I'm curious what the main types of aftermarket accessories might come out of these types of events. Pictures show measurements being taken of the wheel well and suspension components, would look to be based around possible aftermarket lift or related items?
I had a confirmed order at Five Star Ford in Dallas as of 6/12 and I got scheduled for production the week of September 13th. My build is an XLT 2.0 with FX4 and 4K towing with a couple of other options included. I removed the spray in bedliner to expedite scheduling, dealer said I could do it...
I think Rapid Red was a late availability item? Also seems like there have been less hybrids with confirmed orders than 2.0 Ecoboost, but I may be wrong on that.
I had a confirmed order on 6/12 for XLT 2.0 AWD with FX4 and 4K tow package. I originally had the spray-in bedliner but called and...
Of course further delays can happen, but most estimates I've seen are a delivery timeframe of maybe 5-6 weeks from when the build starts on a particular unit. If that's the case I would think an October start could still put you at late November or early December.
I read about that in the other thread, looks like some decent tires. Might be calling up Discount Tire seeing if I can try and get that credit for trading in the current tires.
To be clear, you're saying these wheels should take a 235 tire? I saw the $795 option for alloy wheels that would also give you the 235 tire, but I like the black wheels that come stock with the FX4. I also wonder if they would take a 245. I know the Bronco Sport is not necessarily the same...
My build comes with the FX4 17" aluminum wheels and the 225/65 R17 tires. I'd like to eventually upgrade to a bigger tire, perhaps a 235 or 245 if it will fit without needing a lift (would like to do a lift as well, but maybe a little later). My question is, will the current wheel take a larger...
Will the Maverick take 245s without any shaving or other adjustments needed, and if so is that probably the biggest tire it can take without other modifications?
My initial email didn't have it either. The only reason I'm concerned now is because the scheduling email did include every other option including the rear window, inverter in the cab, full size spare, etc. The 4K tow was the only thing not listed.
