Painted Brake Calipers and Wheel Lighting Finished

Finally finished my project to get the brake calipers painted and wheel lights installed. The brake calipers were painted with a Color matched M7440 atlas blue metallic paint from G2. The wheel light kit is a V1 17" double sided kit from Mictuning.

The rims look great as well as the ptm calipers. Not fond of the leds, but as long as your happy, that's all that matters.

Glad you got the setup back together and thanks for sharing the finished result.

But I will say I think diffusers would help a lot. Probably not an easy install though. I've tried diffused strips before and they do not bend like these sorts of strips. But they are IP64 at least, usually covered entirely in silicone.

Love it. Those wheels are great but I'm old and love chrome.

Definitely not legal while driving. I think technically even an LED valve stem cover is illegal. Only CHP would enforce that one though

The can from G2 is only like 3-4 ounces when mixed. for the areas I could paint, I got around 3 or 4 coats before I got rained out but its way more than needed. I probably didnt use half the paint. Its a 2 part paint so once mixed, you're on a time limit. Id say 2 coats is the bare minimum for proper coverage. I did want more coats as it levels out better the more you add.
