Took my new 2024 Maverick on a camping trip to Austria!! Military which is how I have the Maverick in Europe. Also made a projector screen on the side of it with a sheet.

I used to live in Europe, and I think the Maverick is perfect for the roads. What kind of reactions did you get?

Everyone was turning their heads at it. Few people on our camp ground kept walking past just to look at it. Picked it up a week ago and someone in Germany offered to buy it from me in the town I live.

I just noticed you have the ecoboost. The hybrid would really work well there, with the higher gas prices. How much a liter is it?

Wondering if this is an American spec ( because you are U.S. military), or is there a European spec Maverick, for example, with yellow turn signal markers, etc.?

About 2 euros a liter but I pay American prices in Germany at esso stations and on post so not too bad, about 50 bucks to fill it up.

It’s an American spec one, they don’t sell these mavericks over here, they use to have their own maverick but it was basically the same as our escapes from the early 2000s

Awesome, enjoy Germany. We had a 96 Windstar in Germany and I had a few discussions with Herr Ploocher at Landstuhl Ford over warranty work.

That's awesome!!! I was stationed (Air Force) in Germany from 99-01 and it was one of my best assignments!! Got see a whole of Europe!! I drove my 77 CJ-7 all over Europe! Maverick would a great vehicle there!
