The Image Dynamics Subs sound fantastic but the weak B&O speakers need to be replaced. I can't believe B&O would put their stamp of approval on a Lariat "Upgraded System".

I put a five way amp on them and so far they are holding up just fine (along with my sub of course)

it's a massive upgrade in midbass replacing the B&O speakers. the factory amp works well with efficient 6.5 components.

I was VERY close to buying those wheels, but the prospect of cleaning all of those nooks and crannies made me pass on them for the Enkei Adventurers.

In March 2017, Tymphany, an audio ODM based in Hong Kong and with manufacturing operations in Dongchen, announced the acquisition of the engineering and manufacturing operations in the Czech Republic from Bang & Olufsen.

Not surprising---with OEs, it's usually all about "branding". The "Brembo" brake calipers on the Focus RS are Brembo-branded, but they have a Ford part number cast into them.

Thanks for sharing, this explains a lot of why B&O (and a few other brands) feel like they're in a race to the gutter.
Shame on them for trying to maintain the brand following while throwing quality and performance by the wayside.

Dear Amy (Bang & Olfusen),

I never contacted Bang & Olufsen & I never had an inquiry about the B&O stereo system in my 2024 Ford Maverick Lariat. I’m a little confused why you would reply to my Post on Maverick Truck Club & respond that Bang & Olfusen does not support the stereo but you put the blame on Ford & Samsung. I posted that I had an underwhelming experience with the B&O speakers in my Ford Maverick and that I don’t understand why your Company would put their stamp of approval on an inferior system. I’ve always associated B&O as name that is synonymous with quality. Regardless of who the manufacturer is and who uses the B&O name on their speakers, B&O still has their name on it and is representing your Company. I added the B&O stereo option when I bought my Maverick thinking that I was upgrading but to me it doesn’t sound any different than a standard stock system. In my opinion, B&O should have had a lot more R & D when they developed this upgraded stereo for the Ford Maverick.
