Hey Maverick Truck Club!

We’ve had a blast developing for the Maverick over the last couple of years. We’ve learned a lot about this community: many of you use these trucks as versatile daily drivers and are looking for a very specific balance when it comes to sound.

We have already successfully integrated our new Elite Series Exhaust technology on the Bronco and the Explorer ST, and now it is the Maverick’s turn. We are currently looking for local EcoBoost owners to help us wrap up development and provide final feedback on these new systems.

What is the Elite Series? Our previous Maverick offerings (the Street Race, Sport, Trail Rated and King Of The Hill series) are fantastic for those who want a raw, playful, or aggressive truck sound. However, the Elite Series serves a different purpose. It is designed for the owner who wants a refined, on-demand performance sound that is authoritative when you’re on the gas, but completely composed when you’re just cruising.

Why the Elite Series is different:

Proven Tech: This isn't a "universal" muffler; we’ve already perfected this "all grown up" tone for the Ford Maverick

The Sound: A deeper, fuller note that sounds like a premium factory performance option.

The Purpose: It’s designed specifically for those who have been "exhaust hesitant" because they didn't want to sacrifice cabin comfort or deal with high-volume "boy racer" systems.

How to get involved: If you are interested in helping with our final R&D phase and are available in the next few weeks to bring your truck to our shop in Plymouth, MI, we want to hear from you.

Call us: 734-455-5807 (8am–4pm EST)

DM us: Right here on the forum!

Let’s get your Maverick sounding the way it should have from the factory.

Your passion for performance, all grown up.

Dang, I wish I were local. I’d drop my lobo off in a heartbeat. I’m less than thrilled with my Thermal I put on it. Even after adding in a vibrant resonator.
is the Thermal RD too loud? it's hard to get a good understanding via internet videos. Just ordered this last night.

For me, yes. I added in a vibrant ultra quite resonator between where it attaches to the downpipe and the muffler. To my surprise, I didn’t notice a reduction in sound at all. Like nothing. It sounds good at higher rpm, but down low and just driving through my subdivision at 5 am, I can’t stand it. I have to turn my radio up to at least 10-11 to drown out the exhaust at lower rpm. Of all the sound clips i was able to find on the internet, Thermal was my favorite. But it’s a little too loud for my liking. I may experiment with different resonators and remove the vibrant. Or wait for this new exhaust. We will see.

I am in North Dakota or I would gladly let you test on mine. I currently have the Thermal R&D with xero complaints but that doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy your product either. :)
