That is 30% battery drive time. Levins "50" mpg truck actually was getting 35.....still great thoughThats awesome! Sounds like they are getting better than the projected 40mpg! Can’t wait to get my xl!
I have a feeling (maybe I'm biasedly optimistic) that the city number will come out over 40 since the Escape is rated 44.I believe the computers are optimistic, but, I believe when measured in real life, the hybrid is going to meet Ford's targeted 40 city.
At one time I saw the target as 41. All I'm saying is, the computer readouts, both hybrid and Ecoboost, are probably higher than if you actually measured in personI have a feeling (maybe I'm biasedly optimistic) that the city number will come out over 40 since the Escape is rated 44.
Seems possible as the Maverick hybrid weighs about the same as the Escape hybrid.I have a feeling (maybe I'm biasedly optimistic) that the city number will come out over 40 since the Escape is rated 44.
Yeah for sure. Interestingly, my current car is usually within about 1mpg of my tank-to-tank manual calculated mpg. I think it has a lot to do with the type of driving and how you drive, but I don't think I've ever seen it under estimate mpg.At one time I saw the target as 41. Yep. The hwy # might take a hit, but I don't see why I shouldn't get near the Escape in the city.Seems possible as the Maverick hybrid weighs about the same as the Escape hybrid.
They will be. They are not going to publish a figure that is low.At one time I saw the target as 41. All I'm saying is, the computer readouts, both hybrid and Ecoboost, are probably higher than if you actually measured in person
I had a 2014 F-150 with scary MPG accuracy on the computer. I did my own calculations and it was spot on nearly every time. I couldn’t afford 14MPG anymore and got a Prius. The Toyota crew probably had a hell of a laugh. At one time I saw the target as 41.
