I keep seeing people online swear these trucks won’t last… meanwhile some of y’all are already putting insane miles on them with little to no issues.

Honestly I lowkey think the Hybrid owners are gonna end up outlasting everyone 👀

Prove me wrong.

Bonus points if the truck still somehow looks showroom clean after all those miles.

67,529 miles

Main issue so far was the infamous P0402 “EGR Flow Excessive” check engine code on the Hybrid.

Ended up fixing it myself with the updated sensor + DIY install:

Other than that? Truck’s been solid and still gets used for actual truck stuff constantly 😭

At this point I’m convinced the hybrids are either gonna outlast everyone… or randomly explode one day. No in between. (Don't mind my low tire LOL). Also does your app show a car or a truck?

2025 XLT hybrid all-wheel drive with black appearance package. Purchased May 9th 2025. Current mileage as of today, May 26th 2026 I have 41,984 MI. Original set of tires with about half the tread still left. Goodyear Wrangler territory HT tires. No problems thus far

2022 XLT hybrid. 43,196 miles. She's used for truck stuff all the time. She hauled 20 bags of mulch not long ago. Not any serious issues. Original brakes. Tires and battery have been replaced. I would buy another Maverick. Garaged and washed frequently, so still showroom clean. Someone just the other day asked me if it was new.

  • Current kilometerage - 11661 Km (7246 Mi)
  • Kilometers in the last 365 days = 0
  • Biggest issue so far (if any) - Has needed an oil change for 5 months (the oil life has timed out - the oil was changed a few months before it was put in storage).
I have only had 2 recalls, the last one just showed up a few months ago but there is still no fix (trailer module reprograming). The other one was just a software update for the rear lights as well.

Unfortunately, I still have not regained enough of my sight after suffering a stroke exactly a year ago last Sunday, so my truck still remains in storage.

2025 Hybrid FWD, 112K, (purchased 2025-07-01), obviously I work it, and it has had the HV battery replaced under warranty, but I think only because the contactor went bad.

I ran a Prius to 396K, never replaced the rear brakes, and replaced the front at 250K, so I am expecting the same out of the Maverick. The stock tires got replaced as we went into winter, with Bridgestone Turanza. I ran Ecopia on the Prius and got 120 K out of a set of those.

Biggest issues (2):
1. The braking system remains inconsistent. Sometimes it's easier to predict the 'regen' breaking than other times, occasionally producing a 'jerk' breaking event.
2. Google maps (on the center screen) makes very random suggestions about destinations that confuse my riders (this is when I'm NOT using maps to navigate somewhere). I constantly have to clear the suggestions myself, but they always reappear.

Still on original brakes. Factory tires didn't make it to 25k. I'm a volunteer driver; most weeks I drive 5 days a week. Great for truck stuff (hauling), though I haven't towed anything, yet.

been doing 5K mile oil and filter, at 55K will drain and fill CVT fluid
