Picked this up on sale some time in early March for half off($85) Fox factory Overland tailgate pad. I had a dakine one before on a f150 and I like this one a little more. Works great, minimal obstruction on the back up camera, could fit 4 bikes comfortably. My Cannondale Habit(blue) is a XL and fit with zero issue. Install is easy and while the bike on the right looks like it's hitting the tail light I can assure you its not. Bikes stayed tight and secure. Very happy with it at the price I got it at and probably wouldn't mind paying retail. But would try to find some discount if available.

Not that I remember, but I'm going to ride again today and I'll take another look to make sure.

That looks like a great idea for anything that hangs over the tailgate.

I cheaped out for hauling bikes in the Ridgeline. A padded blanket at HF with a strap around it works well too.

On my older gmc I used one of the wool blankets and a ratchet strap from my ship(prior navy) but I figure with a 30k truck and 3k bike a 90$ pad seems reasonable.

I close my eyes and envision a Maverick in my driveway with that sweet bed pad hauling 2-4 bikes to the trail head. Waiting 7 months 8 days and 4 hours, 39 minutes and 12 seconds but who is counting 🙃

used one of these on my 2016 f150, "demon tailgate pad" , not fox, but very similar style. It dented the shit out of my tailgate on both sides...it looked like Mr Incredible picked the truck up from the tailgate after 6 months of use. I wouldnt ever use one again, especially in this little tin can.

noone asked, but my 2c, nothing to see here

That's really odd. The only thing I can think of is if the bikes weren't tied down they could bounce and hit.

But I've hauled allot on pads with zero issue.

yeah, i was pretty bummed when i went to sell it. the shape of the top of the tailgate might have contributed, it was squared off and thick at the top.
