I had a 2011 Soul for 10 years. It was a great car. Zero issues for the 86,000 miles I had it. Tons of interior space. Slow as hell though. My wife drives a 2017 Sorrento. That has been great so far too. I was going to get a Niro if not for the Mav.

I currently drive a 2015 Soul + with the 2.0L engine and it’s been a great car although some have engine issues. I haven’t had any issues so far and still have about 4 years of warranty left. Gas mileage has been decent, I average around 25-26 mpg with mostly city and back roads at 40-45 mph zones. I don’t baby it and use the air a lot and have gotten as high as 34mpg. I’ve wanted a smaller truck for a long time and the Maverick is the main reason I would give it up.

No experience with Kia but my wife recently bought a '22 Hyundai Palisade. It is impressive [although not my cup of tea] in many ways: Fit, finish, interior layout, roominess and tech features. Fuel economy poor; but it's a BIG suv...

What do you consider “poor”? My wife’s telluride which shares a LOT w the palisade is averaging about 23-24mpg. I think that’s quite good for something that size

We have a 2011 Kia Soul 5 spd manual with 154000 miles and it is still going strong. No real issues with it. Mileage is ok for the size car it is, hwy we get 30ish if we don't push it and don't have a head wind.l, otherwise 27-28 mpg. The car has been used to teach 3 of our daughters to drive(no automatics in the house that they can drive) and so far the clutch is still holding out. Inexpensive, not fancy, but a good, reliable car.
I'd love it if the Soul still came with a manual transmission, but that's part of why I'm replacing my Honda...my husband is bitching incessantly about having to drive a manual when we go on roadtrips.

Nice little car. I really like the body styles of the '14-'15's....not that there's any huge difference in body changes over the years.

Nice looking ride! Is the color on your Tellie gray or am I seeing a greenish hue? I'd love one of these but wayyy outta my price range! Post interior pics!

We have a 2020 Kia Soul, 2.0L, automatic, basic car. It has 73k miles and still going strong. It is a nice daily drive and petty comfortable on trips. Going to trade it in on our Maverick as soon as soon as it comes in only for room to carry our two bikes and other more bulky items.

I currently drive a 2016 KIA Sorento. It has 133,000 miles. My daughter drives a 2014 Hyundai Elantra with around 50,000 miles. Both are solid vehicles and have treated us well. Both purchased used at 4 or so years of age. They were both crazy good deals on the used market(back then). The way Hyundai/KIA are headed, they will soon surpass Toyota, VW, and GM as the largest global auto manufacturer.

Thanks!!! It’s the dark green with the black wheels like on the commercials when they first came out. I’ll take some interior pics and post them later.

Currently driving my wife's 2017 Kia Niro. The interior is a bit basic, but it's been rock solid mechanically and drives well and gets phenomenal mileage. I definitely prefer Mazda to Kia overall, but until Mazda makes a decent crossover hybrid we'll be sticking with the Niro.

I like my Niro Touring. It has all the features I want, minus being a mini truck. It's the next from the top trim level thought so I get heated and cooled seats and some other amenities. For being a 2017 I have no issues with it. For the mileage I would go for it over a Seltos. I regularly get 43 mpg with about 80% city, 20% highway driving.

2016 Kia Sedona LX and 2021 Kia Sedona SX in my driveway, next to the Maverick. The SX has steering headlights and 360 surround cameras. I wish these were available in the Maverick. And the Harman Kardon sound is better than the B&O.

I have 120,000 trouble free miles on the LX. Now about 20,000 on the SX, without issue. Just maintain like clock work.

I have 2021 Soul EX. Transmission was replaced twice within one week at 5000 miles. Engine monitoring system was just installed to warn when too-hard piston rings will fail. Can't wait for my Maverick to get here.

I heard the '21s could be problematic...
