Wow so surprised that most are getting the XLT and Lariat. I am thinking same as zackmd1. This truck will be my secondary vehicle and most of my commute will be using EV (currently driving egolf). Thinking I should stick with my option 1 and get XL.
Just wondering why no one is getting the Theft Prevention Hinge Lock and Wheel Lock Kit? I remember when I've purchased all of my cars, they all came came with at least wheel lock kit.

I'm going First Edition because it'll be my daily driver and my only vehicle. Planning to hang onto it a long time. And I'm not getting the wheel locks but am getting the hinge lock!

Hinge locks are pretty cheap aftermarket and don't really prevent determined thieves.

I prefer no wheel locks. I haven't had them in years and haven't had a set of wheels stolen yet. Gonna keep banking on that luck to continue

Getting the luxury package because I am getting older and returned to the Midwest after living in California for 14 year and I really could use the heated seats.

It’s interesting that this is your second vehicle and you drive an egolf. I’m currently driving an ID.4 and down sizing from a GMC 1500 Sierra Crew Cab. We must be thinking along the same lines. Hinge locks won’t fully prevent theft and I’ll get the wheel locks aftermarket.

Because you can’t steal the tailgate unless you can open it, and the xlt and up have it locked with the power door locks.

I will take the same setup with a remote start I am keeping my 1 ton dually 4x4 and my wife will be replacing her Dodge Journey We live in rural Iowa and during the winter my wife wants to be able to start it to warm up and defrost windows She likes the velocity blue and middle of the road we keep them until totally worn out so resale is never an issue just fancy enough for my wife to like
