Did that 58 have the 352 interceptor special? Always wanted a 57 with that engine. Like the 57 because it was a 1 year only design.

I'm not sure of the engine, only that I remember that it was the T-Bird 352. But not all that good.

Only asking because I’m going to FLA for a few days for Business, and would like to try it.
Gator burgers, love em. Hard to find in some cities.
Skippers Smokehouse in North Tampa was a good spot for some tasty reptilian burgers.

Anybody ever had, ‘Mountain Oysters’ ?

Old enough to know better, Too young to care.

Ok, one question, DO THEY TASTE LIKE CHICKEN?
They are pretty tough if you don't know how to prepare them. I fry it Cajun-style-first marinate in buttermilk, hot sauce, garlic, maybe some Cajun spices for an hour. Dredge in seasoned flour or cornmeal, then deep-fry till golden, about three to five minutes. Then go nuts with tartar or remoulade. Grill's good too-sear on high for two minutes per side with butter and lemon. Keep portions small; it's dense. Sometime I pound if before hand so its less tough.

My Dad used to raise hogs. We had to perform "surgery" on the male pigs when they were the equivalent of adolescent, so they'd bring a decent price at the market. Without the "surgery" the meat would taste funny. Anyway, dad "operated on 10 pigs one Saturday while me, my nephew and cousin held them down. He'd also let them get bigger than he should have. So they were a real struggle. Anyway, mother cooked the pig "oysters". I tried to eat one. But my throat closed up because I knew what they were. I just couldn't.
Mind you. I can usually eat anything at least once. I even eat CHITTERLINGS and enjoy them. But I just could NOT force myself to eat pig nuts🤢
