XLT Security System?

Can someone who has an XLT tell me about the built in perimeter alarm? Never had that on a vehicle. I work in a very sketchy part of town, haven't even ordered my XLT but already thinking about parking it at work (no choice, it'll be my only ride).We've had some tag and battery thefts, but not car thefts, though I arrive hours before anyone else, am sometimes the only vehicle in a lot across from public housing. The business is moving end of 2023, and the way orders are going I may not GET my truck until then, , but sure would like some user insight into how bad or good the alarm is? Thanks in advance.

You will need to buy the upgraded perimeter alarm for $200. Stock one isn’t a perimeter alarm, just if the door opens alarm.
