XL vs XLT steering wheel buttons!?

A few buttons are missing on the steering wheel of the XL trim from the XLT. Any reason why? It looks like they are volume, mute, next, and call buttons. Why would they be not present in the XL?

I did not include any luxury packages in both screenshots.

I actually found this when looking for the cruise control buttons. Maybe it is that. but it would suck if they remove volume and call buttons.

Great this makes sense. They moved the volume, call and other button on the bottom of both sides to the top of the left side in the xl, by removing the cruise control on the left top.

I too wish Ford would offered a manual transmission in the Maverick

I would LOVE a manual transmission, but you can't do a manual transmission for a hybrid. It'd be fun if you could.

1st gear could be electric 0-30mph. 2nd gear could be 30-40mph, 3rd gear 40-50, 4th gear 50-60, and 5th gear 60+.
