XL Cruise Control enable failed

You're running the switch for adaptive cruise control, that's not a regular cruise control switch. You might be able to get it to work but I doubt the codes listed in the original thread will work since they are meant for a different switch.

Thx. I will search for the non-adaptive cruise control button and give it a try.

Do you know which part number will work for the left-hand cruise control?

You have a different set of codes than I do.

Step #1 - Click on the icon that looks like a CHIP from the left menu.
select SCCM (as BUILT format),
click play,
click ok on the warning, and
navigate to section 724-02-01,
which we will change to 1258 4820 3030.
Click WRITE ALL, turn the ignition switch off and on,

click stop, and that is it!

There are reports of the need to use CODE: 1258 6820 3050 for vehicles equipt with Copilot 360, but this is something that I have not been able to verify!

Step # 2 - Click the configuration TAB,
go to the ABS option,
click play,
find CRUISE CONTROL,
double click, and choose "Option #2 Cruise Control" from the drop-down menu.
Click write,
turn the ignition switch off and on,
click stop, and you are done! I have one report that this worked on a HYBRID!

Step #3 - Click the configuration TAB,
and go to the BdyCM Module Configuration (as BUILT format).
Click it,
click play,
click ok on the warning, and
go to section 726-04-05
In my programming, I only changed the last box to 8872! It has been reported and recommended that HYBRIDS use CODE: CB28 8141 8873

Yours differientates from mine as the ABS part needs to be changed to Cruise control in my codes and yours is set in the bodycm part.

I checked mine this morning since my cruise went away after the dealership upgraded something. I still have cruise control in my abs part, but not in the bodycm part. I never had to alter that when I fist put in cruise many months ago,
