Wish Ford could let people know if they think our orders would be built.
Nice wish. But I don't see how that is even possible. I would guess they can tell you how many hybrids they will get built within maybe 10% plus/minus. But telling any particular person if their order will get built? Too many variables with the allocation system.

Now your dealer MAY be able to say whether you have a chance based on the number of allocations they have and how many orders they took and what priority code they gave you and their guess of what parts Ford will have.

I think your dealer could probably with some certainty tell which folks have no chance based on allocations and order date. But anything else? Keep wishing.

I’m not sure the reasoning is supply constraints. It makes more sense to say the hybrid costs more money to make and they wld be losing too much if 75% of the orders were made hybrid. That wld explain no AWD hybrid and adding a tremor pkg to lure people away from hybrid.

They gave everyone the option to switch from hybrid to Ecoboost. They haven't closed that option. To me that should say enough of their confidence in building all the hybrids.

There were orders vs capacity overage for hybrids by 50% per reports. Reports say only a small percentage of people changed over. Do the math, Ford has done likely all they will on the matter.
in my opinion they didn't correct priority placement for MY22. What they should of done is make orders of 2022 to be build asap. Unfortunately, they went for the highest Amount of 23. With the speed that they produce mavericks right now I do believe they will make more than enough.

I could possibly wait until 2024 as long as the hybrid is still flat towable. I'm on a two year plus waiting list for our Leisure Travel Van motorhome to be built. Six months into the queue. Another Ford delay with the long wheel base Transit dually AWD chassis.

There is no advantage to Ford telling someone that their truck won't be built. If they did, chances are you would buy something from a different manufacturer.
