Wish Ford could make up their mind

I ordered my Ecoboost Lariat Lux FX4 CP360 on January 21st. In early September my dealer told me my Mav was scheduled to be built the week of 10/31. Then on 9/23 I got an email from Ford that changed it to 10/17 (Yay!). On 10/11 they changed it to 10/24 (Boo!). Yesterday they changed it to 10/31 again. I know there are many of you that have had the same experience, but this is frustrating.

Frustrating, but I have low expectations for Ford and have had a "believe it when I see it" mindset this entire time

SO far, I had the similar path as yours. 10/31->10/17->10/24 and then was given a date of 10/26 instead of week when I chatted with Ford last week. But I haven't checked with them since. How did you find your move back to 10/31, email or chat?

October 14th order, initial production scheduled with VIN for early August. Now among the many cancelled orders that are allegedly going to be prioritized for 23. I don't believe it for a second though.

Has to be constraints causing the changes. My Eco FX4 (no constraints), also ordered on 1/21, was originally to be built 10/17 but changed to 9/26 and built 10/1. Should be getting a call from my dealer soon.

I was in the same boat, but my order was week ahead of yours, very similar truck. It was built and shipped last week so I'd bet you'll see an update soon.

My Granger order started out scheduled for 10/10, then went to 10/17, then 10/24, and finally 10/31. Then a got a build day of 11/04. I checked today and it has changed to "In Production" on the order tracker. There is no date and the window sticker isn't available yet, so what that actually means is "sent to plant." Still, it is progress.

Seems to me that Ford wants the "credit" for Mav hybrids but doesn't actually like building them; or am I just being snarky ? I know the supply chain is a big issue, especially for hybrids; but is it too much to ask that they wait until they are sure before letting customers know what to expect.

Hope you enjoy your Mav, God knows you have earned that right,\!
