Wireless CarPlay is working?

I’m not sure if I’m crazy (or tech ignorant) but my Apple Music on iPhone seems to be working wirelessly. Thought I needed a dongle?

Bluetooth music streaming does work wirelessly, CarPlay does not.

As far as I know you need to use a dongle for wifi unless they changed something with later builds.
