Wipers chattering

I use NexGen ceramic spray on my truck about every 6 months. When I do it I ceramic coat the entire windshield. It's like Rain-X on steroids. I've had my truck since February of 25, always parked outside, still on the factory wiper blades that work as well as the day I bought it. I think the ceramic coating prevents minerals and bug guts from sticking to the glass wearing out your wiper blades.

I'll check it out. Speaking of bug guts... what do you clean your windshield with before applying the ceramic spray?

Just spray away glass cleaner and microfiber cloth.

It WAS RAINING and there were raindrops on the windshield! You may think it was dry but it wasn't. You weren't there to see the chattering even when it was raining harder.

Appreciate the effort in posting a video, but the truth is it doesn't mean anything. Wet, dry, dirty, clean... doesn't matter. Replace your wipers and be done with it. It's such an easy fix.

I just put Bosch Icons on mine and they are eerily silent. No experience with how long they'll last, but so far I'd tag on to the previous recommendations.

Agree. It just seemed odd that they would be chattering already so soon after purchase as a new vehicle. Thanks to you and all the others on here for your advice.

I loved Bosch Icons on my previous rides. Usually get about a year and a half til 2 years out of a set. That's up in the NE winter storms as well, salt and ice, typically 1400 miles a year. Like a dumbass I got OEM ones for the Maverick about a week after picking up. I should have just got the Icons but can't complain about the OEM just little noise. Like you said those Icons are super quiet.
