Yes, the original one was installed and it was completely screwed into the mount. I don't know whether you saw elsewhere in this thread but I did finally find another antenna on Amazon that works better.

Update: the two of the longer antenna is between 78" and 79". My local carwash has a sign that says maximum height 7'. So I think I'm good at the carwash.
