Winter Wheels for Mav Hybrid

I live in snowy Vermont and hate that I'm already starting to plan for winter (especially with the summer we've had). For my past few vehicles, I've had a separate set of wheels and tires for snow, that I can change as needed. I now have a 23 Lariat Hybrid with the Lux package (18" rims and tire sensors).

What do folks recommend as a good winter rim? And, can I use 17" instead of 18"s? I've looked at a number of on-line stores and can't find any basic steel wheels (like I've had in the past), this is probably due to the stock rims on the XL. I'd prefer 17" just because it's easier on the budget.

Yes 17" will work.
I recommend you use FB marketplace, and keep checking for wheels/tires.
You can use the following search terms:
- ford maverick wheels
- ford bronco sport wheels
- ford maverick rims
- ford bronco sport rims
- 5x108
- 225/65/17, 225/7-/17, 235/65/17, 235/70/17, 245/65/17
- ford wheels
- ford tires

I did something similar and found some maverick wheels with winter tires for 750 locally (550 usd) within a couple weeks of searching.
