It will still be sticking up higher above the black bar of the windshield.

You'll notice next time you look at it.
Bring a ruler - notice how much shorter you'd have to get it to be below the black bar without any adjustments.

That would look hilarious in use actually - please get such a wiper and take a video!
I run a shorter 19" wiper and indexed the arm down one notch. It's hidden and you no longer see it when the wipers parks. The only negative is that it won't clean the camera area and in bad weather you can get a camera blocked message. Read the previous posts. I going to try a 20" to see if if can clean the camera area and still clear the cowl when the wipers park.

Can you just replace it with a shorter blade?
Shortening the wiper blade will not achieve what the OP wants. Which is hiding the wipers from view.
As you can see in the picture Post #8 there is a windshield wiper park position mark on the windshield itself.
If you want to hide the wiper arms. You have to remove the wiper arm from the spindle, rotated or index it from the original position, down a notch. Then reinstall the wiper arm.
Shorting the blade, will still leave the wiper arm viewable, because it still will stop a its factory designated position.
Repositioning the arm on the drive spindle will also affect the upward sweep stop location and the overlap of the driver wiper sweep area from what the factory intended.

But then you won't be able to see the wipers when you're looking at the truck. I hope the next owner of the truck will know what was changed so that they don't go putting on 21 in wiper blades as listed. My opinion is Ford Engineers had a reason why they didn't totally hide the wipers.🤷‍♂️

I think your missing the point I'm trying to make. If you want to hide the passenger wiper from view by indexing the arm down then you need to buy a short wiper.
The arm on my '22 XLT was parking above the factory alignment mark. I indexed it down to align with the mark and it is now hidden from view as it's supposed to be. WHY would anyone want to install a shorter arm? Totally unnecessary.

So it could be seen more easily. I put a dot of 3M vinyl over the windshield wiper parking mark. My wipers and blades are original to the vehicle from the factory. There is no way with my wipers parked on the dot they are hidden.

I would like to see a picture of OEM passenger wiper blade and arm indexed down one on the spindle.
I maintain it would be parking on top of the cowling.

Ya, already understood from your prior post with good pictures.

But Mdmac post I replied to - was asking about ONLY doing a shorter blade as a solution to hiding it.

Now if you reread my post in that context - you'll see my point to Mdmac - who at this point hopefully saw your post and visually saw the why.

During/after the next rain/car wash - it would be interesting for a picture showing the new top of overlap clear area using the shorter blade indexed down a notch. From driver's seat, no need getting wet!

Some drivers might be willing to deal with the change of indexing and results if not that bad.
Others might see it, know they get lots of rain, and would rather have the camera cleared.

Your post gave me an idea.
No need to wait for rain or car wash.
Aerosol window cleaner works.
All original wipers. Original Factory wiper position. Wipers visible above hood, when parked.
Here is a Baseline wiper sweep.

Sorry about the reflections. Best I could do in 5 minutes time.

I really want to see the effectiveness of a shortened and repositioned wiper blade sweep.
Please, post some pictures after wiper modifications.

The passenger side sill wipes into the driver's side wiper path so no real change. I'm only moving the wiper down about a half inch so it will be a half inch less travel on the left. I never got the camera blocked on rain, just snow.

So this is the position of my passenger wiper with the 19" blade on it. You can't see it from inside or outside when looking straight on.

Look's good.
It may help reduce wind noise.
How is the sweep as far as keeping the camera area clean?

Lower the driver's side arm too?
Appears lower - but could be camera angle.

It just misses the camera by a tad. I will get a clean camera warning if it's snowing hard. I going to try a 20" when I have time.
