Hi all,

I had my windshield replaced and I noticed that my windshield wipers stop short of vertical on the driver's side (it now stops around the 2 o'clock position).

Does anyone know the proper way to adjust the ending position to be closer to 12 o'clock?

It probably requires removing the wiper arms and repositioning them lower on the studs and retightening. Haven't looked but there are sometimes marks on the windshield to help with positioning the wipers.

In case anyone is interested, it's a 15mm socket to get the arm off and re-position. Had my windshield replaced today, the installer did not get the drivers arm in the same position it was before.

I don’t understand the problem if they replace glass and no need to touch wipers! I’ve had many windshields replaced, never a problem with wipers after that. Oh, unless it’s another ‘Maverick only’ problem! 😝

It looks like Ford is reading our posts on this forum again. Why they stopped, I thought was a bad idea on their side. How else can they fix problems if they don't know what problems we are having.
