Just in case this happens to you...

I could get one half-hearted squirt that barely came up half the height of the windsheild, then nothing. The pump seemed to be running normally and the fluid was coming through both nozzles equally, so I suspected the possibility of a plugged intake on the pump. I had just refilled the washer fluid reservoir from a very old jug of "bug dissolver" window washer fluid I found in the garage, so I suspected it may have had some gunk in it.

I disconnected the washer fluid hose at the connection just under the hood on the passenger side. I put a rubber-tipped air nozzle on my compressor, turned the pressure way down, and put a couple of blasts of air down through the washer fluid hose.

It now works as new. If it plugs up again, I'll siphon out the contents of the washer fluid reservoir or try to empty it from the bottom and give it a rinse.

Similar situation with my 2022 Maverick Hybrid. Read somewhere else to put a few drops of dishwasher soap in the reservoir and let it sit a few hours. Then rinse it out, refill and try again. Waiting to try it again.
More to follow!

Some of the bug liquids that are put into the Mavericks reservoir can clog the pump motor. It will sound as if it’s working normally, but it is not took mine to the dealer, and they cleaned it out. Fixed!

I tried the soap and rinse. Not much improvement. So, I removed the splash guard in the passenger side wheel well and located the pump. A little tight but I was able disconnect the line to the nozzles then pull the pump out of the black gasket in the side of the reservoir. The I removed the gasket which has a screen on the inside. That is where I found all the gunk from the bug remover fluid clogging about 1/2 of the screen. I rinsed it out, re assembled everything and used clear water in the reservoir. It took awhile for the pump to prime but once it did, it worked just fine. One note: On the nozzle line from the pump-that connection has a tiny-and i mean tiny-o ring inside the connection on the line side. I didn't realized it till it leaked after re assembling everything. Lucky for me the o ring was in the pan I placed underneath to capture the old fluid-the reservoir was 1/4 filled when I pulled out the pump. I should have taken pictures, but it was getting hot outside-98+ degrees and I just wanted to get it done.

That's very common, especially if you're mixing the rain-x bug stuff with the commonly used blue crap dealers & chains will refill it with. The different variants really don't play well together.
