Windshield nicks.

Is anybody having problem with their windshield. This rock chips are killing me. I have three already. I talked to the dealer when getting maintenance down and they have no resolution for it. I like the truck a lot but this just sucks!

dayum! I think I have noticed tiny nicks on my windshield, but it as big as yours! mine are the size of a pin head max.

Try those rock chip repair places in a lot of parking lots? Order the kit you can order online? None of them look to be spreading so would get filled ASAP.

I’ve had one fixed and have a-lot of tiny nicks. Factory windshield is soft glass

The resolution for it may be to install one of those bug/stone deflectors that actually has the deflector lip on it. Iirc Ford discontinued theirs, but I believe the aftermarket now has one available.

1 year and 10k miles later, and no chips or cracks in mine. Could be environmental?

I see you are in TX…. These roads are some of the worst. We spent the winter in TX and the windshield on our 08 Honda CR-V is peppered with small dings that we did not have until we got here. So I don’t think it is totally the fault of the glass.

Roads in Texas are rough for sure. I had to replace my windshield like three times on my last vehicle in Houston.
