A couple of times now my windshield washer tank empty light has come on when I know it’s not empty. Anyone else have this weird glitch.

It’s a known problem. Just tell your dealer and they will change out the faulty sensor.

I found that the connector to the sensor was partially apart. Snapped it together and never had the problem again.

First thing I checked (learned here). Didn’t make any difference. Still get random indicators.

Yup. My Maverick does that too.
It doesn’t have to be much under full and it will kick the alert on.

If you are having problems with the washer fluid container air-locking when you fill it up do this; Run a flexible straw or piece of tubing thru the fill opening to where the air is inside the tank. Obviously the tubing needs to be bent into a U shape. This will allow the air to burb out of the straw as the liquid goes into the filler neck. Pull the straw out and close the cap when it’s full. I use a piece of nylon ice maker supply line tubing on my Hummer, which it terrible to fill. It works very well.

Weird world - My low fluid came on for the first time this week - 2022-25K- Seems ironic that this is now being posted by more than a few folks -

Yes. Really don't know why there is a sensor on wiper fluid. If you try to use and it doesn't squirt, add fluid. If it squirts then level is fine. Apparently mine was low when I picked it up from dealer. I had never used it and the low light came on indicating low level. It didn't seem low but I filled it and have not seen the indicator since. Maybe it works or maybe it doesn't.

Yeap!!! Same thing happened with my 2025 Lariat... add washer fluid and haven't seen it since!!!
