Window Sticker Has No Options - Ford Support Shows Them

As the title suggests, my window sticker shows no options other than the base XLT Ecoboost in Atlas Blue. I know there have been other threads but I'm unaware of anyone having the same issue I had (color change between dealer and Ford) as well as actually call about the option disappearance.

To summarize my order experience:

I placed an order in September '22 at Auffenberg Ford North in O'Fallon, IL. Features were: XLT, EB, 4K Tow, FX4, Lux, Sunroof, Spare tire, Destination/delivery.

February 9, 2023 I received my build week - April 16, 2023. At the time, the order showed my Mav being school bus yellow cyber orange. I called the dealer, they fixed it after a day or two and corrected it to Atlas Blue as requested.

Last week, I checked the status of my truck. It was "in production" and had a window sticker. Only thing is, it showed no options, see below. After work I went to the dealership and they said they would sort it out. Flash forward a week, and there have been no updates past "we're working on it".

Today about 30 minutes ago I called Ford Support to ask about my truck. The very nice lady was able to check my build and she was able to find the luxury package, front tow hooks (FX4 presumably), sun/moon roof, tow hitch (4k tow presumably). However, she said that she couldn't find a trailer package anywhere for the 4k tow package. When I asked if the window sticker would be built or what she had, she said her list will be built and the window sticker may be bugged.

If anyone took the time to read all this I have a few questions:
1) Has anyone else had this experience with the window sticker being wrong vs what Ford has?
2) Will Ford actually build what they have, or my window sticker?
3) Anyone else had a dealer send Ford one order and Ford send back a different one to you? The only paperwork my dealer has is the order form I filled and signed through them with the options I listed above.
4) If I didn't order a trailer hitch because the 4k tow comes with one, would the hitch she found point towards actually having a 4k tow package?

Any help or thoughts anyone has is greatly appreciated. This forum has already been an enormous amount of help in this order wonderful experience.

What features does your order tracker list?
Order tracker shows 300A for XLT and AWD/EB, just like the window sticker

It is my understanding that the WS is the build sheet so if the options you ordered are not on the WS then they won't be added to the base build. I've never heard of a WS being "bugged" and I've been on the forums for awhile now.

What does the order sheet you got from the dealer show or do you even have one?

If it doesn't show any of the features like heated seats, 17" Unique Aluminum Wheel, 3.81 Rear Axle Ratio, etc. then the factory probably is indeed anticipating building a bare XLT AWD like the window sticker lists.

The order sheet from the dealer shows all of the options listed in my original post. That's the only thing they have and said they don't know why Ford messed it up (I wonder at which point there was a screw up if that's what actually happened).

The Ford CS looked at my vin and listed the features that I asked about and told me they had them.

I also haven't really seen 'bugged' order sheets from people getting their Mavs in the last ~9-10 months I've been lurking around here, but the one's I have seen be wrong never commented on contacting Ford directly, just their dealer (who eventually caved and said they had ordered the wrong Mav).

Edit: When did you receive your window sticker? Was it right before production or was it a while out? I assume it was accurate when you checked before arrival

The only wheels are 17" Carbonized Gray AL wheels. And I checked that thread before posting here, OP just never commented on if he had contacted Ford at all.

I'm really just confused as to why Ford CS says they see all of (or at least confirmed parts of) my options, but the window sticker they sent me did not

My guess would be either the dealer stripped the options or the wrong color suggests maybe there is something weird going on where they reused order numbers and you're seeing an order that technically isn't yours? I think some of the dealers around here like @KevCuRaoi can investigate some of that with their access.

Your truck will be built according to the window sticker.

This sounds like the dealer is playing games. They probably changed the color on your order hoping that you wouldn't notice it. Since you caught the wrong color before production they had to fix it, but the next day they removed all your options.

Sorry to say this, but they want you to walk away from this truck so they can sell it to someone else with a mark up.

Ford only builds what the dealer submits to them. If the factory is not able to install something then it will be shown on the window sticker as a credit. All dealers lie and will blame the factory for anything that is missing on the order.

I would go to the dealer without telling them that you are coming. Talk to the sales manager, give them your order number and ask them to print you the current order preview. Make sure that the print out does not say "This order has not been submitted" at the bottom.

The print out will show everything that has been submitted to Ford. If all your options show up on there then there is something wrong on Ford's end as to why the window sticker does not match.

If the order preview matches the window sticker then that's how it will be built and it was the dealer who made the changes to the order.

I received my WS about a week before production started.

I think @Darnon might be onto something with your dealer reusing order codes/numbers. I've seen this happen multiple times on the forum.

@paytonlb999 It is certainly possible that you are being sent the wrong window sticker due to a mix-up? Does the VIN on the window sticker match the VIN associated with your order? Maybe you were simply sent the windowsticker for another vehicle. Or the dealer messed up and swapped your email w/ another persons?

If you message me your VIN I can try looking up the windowsticker on my end.

Did the "order summary" email from Ford show the correct options for you? I can't tell for sure what has happened, but I'll try to see what info I can get if you want.

I would verify the VIN on the sticker matches the one you got in the e-mail notifications. I know two other people where they click the track button, and then the window sticker, and the VIN on the sticker isn't the one in the e-mail. I'd start there, and also check again on Thursday evening after the next site-sync to see if the online sticker changes.
