I hope not. Bought one car on Valentines and it was the worst car ever - ‘03 Merc C320. In the shop 8 times in 8 months before I traded the turkey in. Of course a rose by any other name would be a totally different car.

I ordered my XLT in mid June order 1001 and still have not gotten a vin number. Why is it taking so long to get them produced. Have seen they have canceled production dates twice now and still do not understand why.

There WERE a couple production dates cancelled. A few vehicles were moved to a SOONER date to be built. I agree with 22Mav. Stop the panic mode. I want the MF'er just as bad as you do. They JUST STARTED building. It's like you're at a baseball game and your teams losing 2-1 in the top of the 1st inning. Maybe a little to soon to pack up and leave before the mad rush.

I ask a question awhile back, and got accused of spreading rumor's. I want everyone to know that was not my intention at all . I just do not fully understand how the orders are processed. I ordered through a Ford Dealer and had seen where some were posting about their build date was given and then moved to a later date. I still am confused as to how orders are being processed. The Ford dealer used the build your own when I ordered it and got conformation that it was accepted. So can someone please explain which is being built first? Orders from that were sent through a Ford Dealer or those that were done without a Dealer?
I ordered mine on June 21, and have yet to receive any sort of notice, was my concern.

I figure the longer it takes to get mine scheduled for build, they'll hopefully get better at building them .

I definitely don't want one of the first trucks built.
