Even the SC with its little bed has them-to mount a topside bed rail.
The are very handy on my 2006 Ranger...
Anybody ask Ford?

Maybe they’ll add them in my2023 after they jack up the price $5k.

Anytime something was omitted or left wanting more the answer always is “to keep the price down.”

I am just going to mount vertices to the aluminized struc channels or attachment holes for those in the bed. Could be either 2x4's or the struc channel you can buy at HD, Lowe's, Granger, etc. May also make "Bubba" style cattle panel hoop covers for tall cargo. OMG I can make a Bubba style slide in camper!
