Sure... But I really wouldn't expect 4k towing from a hybrid, even with a turbocharger.
AFAIK the jury is still out on the F150 powerboost with the 3.5 turbo and hybrid electric motor.

It's a very different powertrain than the Maverick hybrid. A lot of torque from the big 3.5 twin turbo, and relatively little of it from the electric motor. Very modest fuel economy gains over the regular 3.5 (non-Raptor).

I am not sure why Ford didn't just use the 2.7 for better fuel economy, and it seems like that combo still would have an abundance of towing capability.

Rumor has it in MY25 we'll see a Ranger like that. 2.3 turbo or larger with hybrid drivetrain, a smaller version of the F150 powerboost. Totally different use case than the Maverick hybrid, but will we someday have a Maverick that is turbo hybrid? Probably so, in my opinion.

I’ve been kind of confused trying to figure out why they wouldn’t have added a turbo on the Atkinson motor. Can anyone explain to me the science behind why they didn’t? And if we could put aftermarket turbos on for better fuel efficiency and power?
We were all waiting on you to install one 1st :p
