Why is my XL base AWD not being built?

Hey everyone just wondering the veh I ordered XL AWD base that’s it. I can’t find any constraints so why is it not being built can anyone help me understand VP

I guess I am not understanding what the concern is. Assuming this is a NEW 2023 order and not any sort of rollover from 2022 then the vehicle will get scheduled when the dealer has allocations.

Ford has all the orders they need for the entire year's production so why would you think yours would be built already? Depending on a lot of things your order could be built in January or July or anywhere in between.

A brief (and simplistic) explanation as I understand the process:
- if the region your dealer is located in has an available allocation, they look at your dealer
- if your dealer has an available allocation, they look at his orders
- if the dealer has an order for a model that they have parts for they look at those orders
- the orders are sorted by priority code with the lowest number between 10 and 19 being selected first
- if two identical orders with the same priority code are found then order date is used to select

Your order code is 15, which is not all that good. Suggest you contact your dealer and ask how many orders they have for that model that are ahead of yours. That might give you some idea on when it will get scheduled for build.

I think the real answer to OP is relax, there's a long road to go and it's early in the process. With an EB you will most likely get built eventually.

Yeh more money in other trims esp with packages ,however some loyalty would be nice point for use first timers.

well loyalty is a tuff nut to crack. I’ve been with ford for 48 years.worked for them and have only bought fords so I’m about as loyal as it gets.so I’m gonna sit back and wait for my next I’m sorry letter and try to be patient sorry all for being a downer VP

@Hatonapug 478 days and counting, Sir you deserve an award or something special. That is absurd to have to wait that long. Patience of Job, as in the Bible, comes to mind. I really hope you get yours soon!

Vinny check in with your dealer about once a month to ask if your priority code has changed. Once it drops to 10 then it's close. Once it hits 2 you are actually in line to be scheduled.

XL production intent is 15%, orders are for 26%. There will be quite a few people that don't get a truck this year if it's an XL.
