Why doesn’t Ford or a aftermarket company make a fog light insert ?

I may get to look into fog light options very soon - my salesman called about an hour ago - my Maverick is at the dealership. I'll be getting it Monday.

im using the DD heavy duty single output, 2 pin harness that has a 12v relay and goes straight to the battery

I realize the diode dynamics install seems like a bit much. It is a fair amount of work but its also not overly difficult or hardcore.
If you are handy and can keep track of screws its easy enough. I was a bit apprehensive about doing it but once I did not I realized it wasn't that bad.
Screwdriver, jig saw or multi master and you've pretty much got it covered.
They have a Maverick specific video.
I'm very happy with my install.

I had a local body shop install them, they are from DD. I read where Ford was adding fog lights as an option to 2025 Maverick. If so, looks like Ford would sell them to 22-23-24 owners? Unless there are major changes to the bumper?

Your install looks good! I don't see the bumpers/lower valances being interchangeable after the refresh.

These options are more complicated than what was available for the vehicle in the video..

You could always go to Harbor Freight and get lights. If you want something that looks factory, you’ll have to do the $300 Diode Dynamics kit.

I agree that Ford should offer Fog Lights, as I honestly need them at times.
