I know the order banks don't open for another month, give or take, then I'm probably in for a grueling 10-12 month wait after that. But I can't stop looking up accessories and upgrades before my order is even in. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. Been looking over this site for a few days and really enjoying it. Thanks for everyone sharing information on their trucks.

Order as soon as you can, you may get it by the beginning of 23, in my opinion the Maverick is about the best thing Ford has ever made.

Ahh, I remember 10 months ago, that gleam in my eye. Watching videos, accessories and thinking wow, the perfect truck. That turned to disappointment after 4 months, anger after 6 months and defeated currently. One good thing is you know the real wait time. Most of us were sold a bill of goods like 6 to 12 weeks wait times by our salesman.

I'm still excited to get my Maverick. Weighting doesn't keep me down....I mean waiting. :sneaky:

I was hoping for a four-month wait, and was ready for six. That's what we all believed last year, and I don't think it was a lie. It turned out to be wrong but it's what FoMoCo and everyone else really believed. Calling it a lie would mean a deliberate withholding of facts and I don't think that was the case.

I encourage you to do all the "research" you can, but don't spend any money until your truck is in shipment. You'll change your mind a dozen times between now and then about the things you just can't live without.

I can't wait to get my hunk of junk then deal with all the problems they seem to have. It's going to be really really great :)

absolutely. That’s what bookmarks are for 😁

I’ve seen a bunch of ads in the marketplace where people even gave up on their order completely after accumulating lots of parts.

Same, been following and lurking since first announced. Wanted to get past the first year to help iron out issues. At this point even with issues I am ordering when the banks open and planning to get it in 9-10 months. Pretty excited, never ordered a vehicle before but at the same time never needed to

Haha i have more of a truck in boxes in my garage than I've seen of the Mav.

Tires, rims, bedmat, tonneau, window deflectors, mudflaps, floor mats, tailgate strut, bike racks, hitch bike rack, bike mat, bed dividers, bed tie downs, bed lighting, plate mount, hitch covers, hood strut, USB wiring, dashcam, seat covers, dogcover, stubby antenna, device mounts, tailgate vinyl lettering, etc.

All that and still no build date.

I'd say if you are keen to get one and dont plan on bailing. Keep an eye on the internet for sales. I got a lot of this stuff on significant discount just for setting up searches and timing it right.

That's the way to do it, especially if you know ahead of time that it's going to be awhile. You get to learn from others and do some serious planning.
