I have a SunJoe electric pressure washer, so I got the SunJoe foam cannon. This is my first foam cannon and this thing is AWESOME. You can barely see the car thru the foam! It's adjustable, but I like the heavy foam setting. I also got a telescoping microfiber mop used for washing RVs (YeewayVeh on Amazon). No bending or stretching. Love it. :like:
Btw, you can't just foam your truck and then rinse it off and expect it to look good. You're still going to need a wash mitt or something similar.

I use mine with the "handle/wand" that is already on my pressure washer. There is no need to use that "handle" they provide you, unless you want to mess with unscrewing your wand from your pressure washer each time you want to use the foam cannon.

Only drawback to using a regular wand is that it is heavy at the "tip" since you have a 12-24 inch wand with a heavy bottle of juice on the end of it. But the nice thing is the wand extends your reach so you can easily spray the roof, etc....

Hi. I have that one and the other one with a bit wider (same brand) bottom, both works good. I use one for bottom part, and the other one with wash and wax for the top part, that use I can work fast and use the right products at the same time.

I’m thinking of buying this foam cannon. It looks simple enough to use. Spray foam on, let it do its job, then rinse off. No more washing by hand. What do you think?

That’s the same one I have it’s very nice. But you should spray off the car. Foam it. Let it sit for 5 min then spray off. After that foam again and wash normally. Keeps the paint perfect. Now if you have a good ceramic coat it definitely could be done without any hand wash but I still find it best to give it a quick once over. That foam gum works fine. It does use more soap than others I’ve tried but that’s not a bad thing.

I'm a former professional auto detailer. Foam cannons work great to soap up a car faster and some customers like the theatrics. I suggest you watch some product demonstrations. You still have to agitate the soap in some fashion unless your car is perhaps just dusty. Otherwise you'll leave a thin film of road grime and/or soap grime on the car (also the same reason as to why I don't like touchless carwashes).

Personally I don't see the value in having a foam cannon for home use unless you have large vehicles like boats, enclosed car trailers, or RVs.

I'm into washing my own cars. I find a foam cannon speeds up my wash process. Pricy, but I went with the gold standard of foam cannons, Griot's Garage the Boss, which the Obsessed Garage guys also recommend. Build quality and performance are great.

You still need to hand wash or agitate the surface to remove the contaminants on your paint. I pressure rinse, foam and let it sit to allow time for the chemicals to do its thing, 2 step wash and rinse, pressure rinse and dry. Even with a high quality ceramic coating, you’ll still need to mechanically wash the truck.

I have one of these that I just bought recently and goes on the end of a garden hose. Haven't used it yet to see how it works, but I'd love to wash the truck without having to drag out the pressure washer.

I have a pressure washer but will never use it on my truck. I use a foam cannon now to apply soapy water hooked on the end of my watering hose. I wet the truck, foam the soap on it and hand wash it with the soap on it. Then rinse and hand dry. I get exercise and a cleaner truck in about an hour. I am 76 and been doing this to my cars long before foam was invented. You can now laugh.

Foam cannons are a gimmick. If it amuses you, great. They don't wash the car any better.
Disagree, it’s able to get more soap on the car. You just still have to scrub it
