White Powder Coat Steelies

Hi all,
Unpopular opinion but I am a big fan of steel wheels and was always planning on powder coating them gloss white to give them that old school Toyota FJ, Defender safari vibe. Just had them done and wanted to post in case anyone else wanted to see what it would look like. I also have bigger tires, and RokBlokz rally mud flaps. Happy to answer any questions.

Pretty cool. I have seen some mods that I think look goofy but if the owner does it, all good.

Great that so many people are able to afford mods on such a good value vehicle.

$160 per wheel. This included demounting, sanding, powder coating, remounting and balancing.

Is your truck Cactus Gray or Silver? I thought CG at first, but don't see the color changing in the angles as it usually does.

The first Mav I saw was cactus grey. I thought those sparkle silvers on the XL looked great. My thought would be to clear coat the wheels to better maintain the sparkle, which is sure to lose their sheen.

I like the silver, but you did not buy the truck, or decorate it for me. It's yours. Where are the centers?

I like the look. To me white wheels are like black vehicles....they look great clean.

I had white wheels ONCE on a motorcycle .
